Automating TradingView strategies with email
When creating a TradingView alert, you can choose to be notified by email. This service is available with a free TradingView account and can be used to automate trades using OctoBot.
The Premium OctoBot Extension is required to trade with OctoBot using TradingView email alerts.
TradingView email alerts configuration
To automate your trades based on TradingView alerts using emails, simply go to your Accounts configuration, select the Interfaces tab and add the TradingView interface.
In case you didn’t authenticate to your OctoBot account or setup your email yet (or did not yet purchase the Premium OctoBot Extension), then just click on GENERATE EMAIL to connect to your account and setup your alert email address on TradingView.
The next step is to configure your TradingView account to send alerts to this email address.
Register your alert email address on TradingView
Now that you received your personal TradingView alert email address, simply follow the quick configuration steps directly from your OctoBot to add this email address to your TradingView alerts.

Start trading using your TradingView strategy
Your OctoBot is now ready to trade using your TradingView alerts. You can trade on any market and exchange following the OctoBot open source alert format.
Once configured, your personal TradingView alert email address will be shown next to your TradingView configuration. In case you need to go back to the configuration interface, for example to revalidate your email address, just use the wheel icon.
