Stopping an OctoBot

You can stop a running OctoBot at any time in order to pause or stop its investment strategy execution.

Stopping a running OctoBot will:

• Cancel all its buy and sell open orders
• Prevent it from creating new orders
• Instantly sell each coin bought by the strategy (if this option is selected)
• Free the associated exchange account, allowing it to be used by any other strategy

Restarting an OctoBot

After being stopped, OctoBots can be restarted in order to resume your investment strategy.

A restarted OctoBot will start again to apply its strategy while keeping its original portfolio history and profitability.
