Many investments are available on app.octobot.cloud. Some of them are created by the OctoBot team, others are made by the community.

The goal of OctoBot cloud is to help you find the perfect investment for you according to your own goal.

Finding your ideal investment can be hard. That’s why the try to make it as simple as possible to:

• Choose a crypto basket theme
• Compare strategies
• Understand the idea of each strategy
• Access past performances of each strategy in a transparent manner

Crypto basket theme

Many crypto baskets are offered on OctoBot cloud. A crypto basket is a collection of different cryptocurrencies that share a common theme. These baskets allow you to invest in the cryptocurrencies that interest you or simply in the cryptocurrencies with the highest market capitalization (‘the top crypto’).

Using these baskets allows you to avoid having to individually choose each cryptocurrency to buy and profit from the next increase in value of a cryptocurrency within the basket.

Strategies details

Each strategy has a historical profit chart. This chart is generated by running the strategy with historical data on the displayed time period.

Note: Profit charts are generated using OctoBot backtesting

For maximum transparency, each strategy performance is re-evaluated every week. This ensures that displayed performance are always up to date with the current market.

Creating your strategy

You might prefer to create your own trading strategy rather than using OctoBot cloud ready-to-go strategies.

For this purpose, OctoBot connects to TradingView to enable you to create your strategy on TradingView is a way that is:

• Clear and appealing: no coding skills required as TradingView provides a simple visual way to create the strategy.
• Adapting to the investor level of expertise: OctoBot cloud enables the best strategies for you as an investor. If for someone this means trading on price targets or using a complex combo of indicators, we work on making it possible and easy to do.
• Simple to follow and monitor: your always know what trades are open, what can happen next and what happened in the past.

Using the investment you found

Once you identified the investment you would like to use, you have 2 possibilities:

• Test it with paper trading: start an OctoBot with simulated funds and test the strategy or the crypto basket as much as you want. Paper trading is risk free.
• Use it with real funds: start an OctoBot on your real exchange account and start profiting from the strategy or the crypto basket.
